John D’earth writes, “Double Helix is collaboration across time and dimensions, made possible by the same technology that has carried jazz and rock music forward and has fueled the passionate musical outpourings of Kyle Thomas. When I heard the guitar tracks that became Double Helix, I immediately told his Dad, "That sounds like Miles Davis' later work. Think about adding a horn to that. In fact, I'd love to try it!" I was graciously invited to do so. I hope Kyle would have enjoyed my response to his creation. I'd like to think he's enjoying it now.”
